Spelling Test Friday.   Here are the words: thrown, stole, clue, dew, choose, rule, boast, cruise, stroll, route, mood, loaf, growth, youth, slope, bruise, loose, rude, flow, flute.  Challenge Words: subdue, pursuit, molten, reproach, presume.

Rough draft of Three Things I Would Bring With Me If I Had To Move essay due Friday.  Final Draft due next Wednesday.

Read 30 minutes- especially read from your book for your book report.

Math: Kemp- Why Are Spiders Good Baseball Players w/s & other side is extra credit.  Rierdan- double sided worksheet.

Soc. St. : Scholastic News back page questions due tomorrow.

Projects: Book Report due Fri. 9/17.  Bring  book to class by Friday.

Lang. Arts: Read 30 minutes, Spelling Test Friday, PB p. 38, 39, 40.

Math: Kemp- first 2 double sided pages in packet; Rierdan- p. 13 and 14 in WB.

Projects: Book Report was introduced today and students were given directions.  The report is due Friday Sep. 17th.  Bring the book to class by Friday to be approved.  It must be at least 125 pages long.

I only taught 1/2 day today in order to rest so that I can beat this cold.  When I am absent, I will try to still post the homework if I am able.  Today’s post will be to the best of my recollection since I am at home right now.

Lang. Arts: Spelling Test Friday.  PB – 3 pages of spelling.

Math: Kemp- 2.1 math pages in workbook (2 pages); Rierdan- sorry, not sure so check your agendas.

Soc. St.: double sided immigration worksheet and test on immigration unit tomorrow.

Geography: first 3 pages in Soc. St. workbook.

I am resting and plan on seeing everyone tomorrow morning.

Lang. Arts Practice Book pages 23,24,25 due tomorrow.  They were begun in class.  Rough draft of HOW I WOULD SPEND $5,000 is due tomorrow.  Final draft is due Friday.

Soc. St.: Ancestor Report and Family Tree due Friday.  Extra Credit: finish Virtual Ellis Island Tour on the internet at home.

Math: WB p. 5 and 6

Art: Portaits of classmates are due tomorrow by the end of the day.
